here in our country we used it in any soup dishes. like chicken tinola. its yummy and health boosting.

I must say I'm pretty excited to order one of these, but I wouldn't say they were spicy. A very slight peppery warmth in the throat when you eat the leaves but that's it!
The vegetable when cooked tastes a little bit like young fresh broadbeans. Super delish.
Everywhere else I've read says the roots are not to be eaten. They are used for medicinal purposes but not for home use. check out pubmed.
