I think the smaller plant is the Stenopetala Variety…. which is Very hard to find, grows slower than the Oleifera, but… I've read are a bit more nutritious and slightly different flavor…

My neighbor told me that their is female tree and a male tree. They have two mornings trees and one has these longs pods hanging down and the other tree does not. They were planted at the same time.

I bet the little one has been dwarfed somehow. To make a Bonsi tree, ya cut the main root short while it's a tiny seedling. Well, this seed may actually be genetically ready to be that bonsi tree.

the mutated one's possibly a nicked seed. maybe why others prefer to keep seed husk on to avoid nicking the actual seed. 🤷♀
